About Me
I come from a very creative family and am a native of Georgia. I followed many of my high shcool friends to Auburn University and graduated in 1984. Where I obtained a BA in Fine Art. I have designed brochures, logos, wall graphics and signage for buildings. I loved this fast pace line of work. I have also worked as a marketing director for a Historic Preservation and Landscape Architecture firm.
While freelancing part time doing graphics, I developed a line of cards and baby items with some of my original art. I called this line Little Designs. I have marketed and been to the wholesale market with these items. Now I sell these things in my gallery of gifts at the studio. You can look under the gifts tab at the top of the page for a complete list.
For the past 5 years I have been developing my style of teaching techniques. The class participation is growing, while allowing me time to paint, design and create new art. I love working with the kids. It's my goal to help them gain confidence. I have been blessed with this wonderful gift and am grateful to be able to help nurture others.

Thank you to all the kids who stopped and painted a snowflake with me at the Winterfest in Sterling on Lanier. I loved seeing you and hope to see you at the studio soon.
On 5/19 I participated in the Gainesville paint the town. We had a great time. You can see lots of photos and the winning paintings on the Quinlan's web site.

I was at the Art on the Square art festival with my artist group -- The Artisans of Flowery Branch -- on Saturday 9/29. Thanks to those who stoped by, great picture Milly and Emma.
Summer 2007 Activites for the Littles:
Roger & I participated in the Paddle Georgia earlier this summer. We joined 300+ others to paddle the Ocmulgee River in middle Georgia. See the photo below. This was a fund raiser for the Georgia River Network. You may find more information on their website http://www.garivers.org
I also had a chance to visit Rutledge, GA for the sunflower festival. The flowers were so beautiful!!! Lots of things there to make an artist want to paint. Next year I am planting a field of sunflowers for us to enjoy. We were able to pick our own and bring a bucket home as full as we wanted. All for $10. Just lovely!!
I also visited the Glenn Ella Springs Hotel in Clarkesville for their 4th annual Tomato Festival. It was great. We tasted 30 different kinds of tomatos. Beautiful gardens up there. Roger was a good sport and went with me. (Brownie Points)
