I come from a very creative family and am a native of Georgia. I followed many of my high school friends to Auburn University and graduated in 1984, where I obtained a BA in Fine Art. I have designed brochures, logos, wall graphics and signage for buildings. I loved this fast pace line of work. I have also worked as a marketing director for a Historic Preservation and Landscape Architecture firm.

 

While freelancing part time doing graphics, I developed a line of cards and baby items with some of my original art. I called this line Little Designs. I have marketed and been to the wholesale market with these items. Now I sell these things in my gallery of gifts at the studio. You can look under things to buy page to see the items. 

 

For the past 10 years I have been developing my style of teaching techniques. The class participation is growing, while allowing me time to paint, design and create new art. I love working with the kids. It's my goal to help them gain confidence. I have been blessed with this wonderful gift and am grateful to be able to help nurture others.
